The Barberton museum and heritage walk are a “must do” if you visit Barberton. My favourite museum house is Stopforth House. You can walk yourself or arrange to have guides walk with you from the museum. There are guided tours at Belhaven and Stopforth houses....More

A nice experience if you love history. You have to take a walk on the wild side. Start at the Museum and follow the heritage walk through town. Belhaven House Museum and Stopforth House is great. Real heritage in an ood Town(1884).

Well documented with pictures, books, prospects, etc. Barberton is a small town with character and lots of history for a relatively young country like South Africa.

There's a real community feeling in Barberton and it's exemplified by the museum (free entrance!), which explains how the town developed and featured in S Africa's mining past and the struggle against apartheid; as well as the unique ancient geology. Nice local jewellery shop next...More

Definitely not Vodacom if you are going to travel to outlying areas. CellC seems to get best overall coverage in all areas including remote areas.
