You can drive yourself in the Park, but a game drive will insure you see a lot more animals and you can focus on seeing animals and not watching the road. We were pleased to see so many elephants, even babies, and so many other...More

We trip was a drive through, entering in at the main gate and exiting at Colchester. Sure the N10 would have been quicker but not nearly as much fun! In the 2 hours we were in the park we managed to tick off many buck,...More

We were truly blessed to see so many animals in such a great park and in the quickest time. after leaving the entrance gate we took the map and plotted our route to the watering holes. This is normally where animals migrate to on warm...More

Absolutely lovely park with many wild pigs and of course elephants. This park you do not have to visit so early as Kruger, animals walk here more around during day and less queue in front of the gate. A lot of low bushes just next...More

The ark is amazing, so many animals to view. Highlight was seeing the vast amounts of elephants in the park, visitor centre is definitely worth a visit as this tells you the origin of the park as well as some fun facts. Lovely picnic areas...More

Addo Elephant National Park offers lots of opportunities to spot elephants, zebra and other animals from your own car. The park is beautiful and the entrance fee is acceptable although it can get a bit crowded.

The park is wonderful and the number of elephants to watch in their natural environment was just breathtaking. We did a self drive and this was the best as we could stop for as long as we wanted and drive as slowly as we wanted...More

With the huge African sky overhead, the Addo National Park was quite wonderful. Going on a jeep tour from the main lodge was well worth the extra rand. Not only did the guides share valuable information, they also took us along tracks not accessible to...More

Guys if you are in the area, don't miss this very nice park. The majority of roads are paved, the picnic areas are clean & safe, & the viewing pull off areas are very ample to witness wildlife. We drove through as a group in...More

The knysna Elephant park is really for kids where you can get up close to the elephants and feed them, Addo is huge and has a far greater range of animals but they are wild so you can't get near them like you can at Knysna.

4 is fine. I went with my 2 year old. You are in your car most of the time, unless you are at a picnic spot. They do not allow kids under 12 on the game drives.
