$9 each way and only takes 10 minutes at worst to get into the city. The ferrys run often and are on time. The crews are very friendly and professional. Once you are in Manhattan there are buses that one can take, free of charge,...More

This water taxi is amazing. Game changer. Absolutely the best way to get in and out of the city. Will do this again!

We live near here and often take the ferry when we don't feel like driving into Manhattan. It's very well run, clean and fun!

The ferry makes the movement to and from NY much better. We preferred staying at a hotel close to the ferry in Jersey Shore and take the ferry to the NY.

This ferry was the perfect way to get to a concert in Jersey from manhattan. Many people might not feel this is worth the trouble, but if you've got nice weather ahead I can't think of a more interesting way to get out of the...More

So much easier than driving. So much less frustrating than Amtrak or NJTransit. Parking is reasonable. Pier 79 is right behind Javits.

Parked in the ramp and took ferry into New York. Was quick, visitor friendly and affordable. Great way to avoid New York traffic and parking.

It was our first time using the Ferry, and it was easy and pleasant. Courteous staff, nice comfy seats, on time, and quick transportation. Remember to buy ahead of time and download the app, worked like a charm.

Which ferry should we take if we are arriving on a Friday and going home on a Sunday? We want to leave the car and take the ferry and stay in NYC for the weekend.

The answer to your question of 'which ferry' would depend on which area you'd like to approach NY from - the ferry I reviewed is one that starts at midtown Manhattan and makes stops in Brooklyn & Long Island city. But there... More

I like the idea of taking the ferry into NYC. We would be driving from upstate NY on a Friday and heading back home on Sunday. Is there overnight parking? If so, how much is it? Does the ferry run on Sunday to take you back to your car? Is there a particular ferry we should take or port that we should park at?

Is the ferry from Weehawkin a good way to get to the Highline? If so, can we walk once we get off or do we need to jump on a bus?
