I was in Trenton for a business function and had some time to myself so I started wandering around. I essentially found this memorial by loading up Google Maps to find food and say a WWII memorial I didn't know existed.
The memorial is really nice. There is a timeline, a collage of photos and two excellent statues.
It is a shame that this memorial is not better marked/advertised and almost feels hidden in the state capital.

This Memorial was built in 2008, and is located at the Veteran’s Park -- right across from the Trenton State Capitol Building. Many rallies are held here.
It is a nicely done Memorial. Since everybody knows somebody who is a Veteran of this War, it evokes a lot of feelings and emotions while standing there admiring everything all around, and reading all the plaques, letters, tributes and its history on the massive curved walls on two sides. Right in the center is a 6-pillared domed structure with a 12-foot bronze Statue of Lady Victory standing on a circular cement pedestal. She is holding a sword in one hand and a Wreath of Peace in the other hand.
Behind Lady Victory, there is an open space where there is a large and prominent helmeted statue of the “Lone Soldier” who is completely dressed, prepared and ready for battle, with a huge rifle in his hand. Further back, a few steps away, there is that famous symbol of the “Fallen Soldier” – a helmet balancing on an upright rifle.
This is a truly beautiful Memorial. A lot of thought has obviously been put in creating it, and we are so glad we stumbled upon it as we were walking back to our car after visiting the State Capital. Absolutely worth a visit. Keep at least 45 minutes if you want to read everything that is displayed there.

Located directly opposite the Trenton State Capital Building, the WWII War Memorial was dedicated November 11, 2008. It's commission chairman was Jack McGreevey, who at age 80 was a veteran of both WWII and the Korean War and father to former governor James E. McGreevey. The memorial pays tribute to the service, duty and sacrifice of the WWII generation. Highlights of the memorial include: Lady Victory a center piece statue, the lone soldier a life-size bronze sculpture and two 12' high by 40' long curved wall display, 1) featuring pictures from the European Theatre and 2) the Pacific Theatre. It is a timeline from 1939-45 done in pictures representing the important events and symbols of the time. Rosie the Riveter, Charles Chaplin mocking Adolph Hitler and Albert Einstein's letter to President Franklin D. Roosevelt warning of the Atomic Bomb. The 16 N.J. citizens who won the Medal of Honor are displayed. It cost $7,4 million to build, $6,5 from the State of N.J. and the remainder in donations. While visiting the State Capital or nearby attractions pay a visit to this well done memorial.

This war memorial is simply well done. Quite lovely. Lady victory at the center of the domed archway is glorious and the soldier with the other state of rifle and helmet is really glorious. If in doubt he area, take 15 minutes to walk around and read some scripture. High praise.

The monument is located right across the street from the NJ State House, State Museum, and Old Barracks Museum. The view from the top of the monument is quite good and worth a brief visit.

Excellent war memorial to those from the Garden State who served. Man focus is on WW2 with smaller adjoining memorials and placards for more recent wars and conflicts. Amphitheater seating allows visitors to sit and reflect while viewing panels dedicate to each major theater of the war. Located across from the State House. Unlike the rest of Trenton the area is safe with police and security patrols given its proximity to the NY State Capital Complex.

Located across the street from the New Jersey Statehouse, this memorial is a lovely tribute to those who served in WW II. There is a timeline on each side detailing the events of the war. There is seating available & you can view the memorial at your own pace.

This small memorial is in commemoration of US wartime contribution. Right opposite the State House, this place is slightly reminiscent of the national World War II Memorial in Washington DC. Take a look when in Trenton.

A nice little memorial right across the street from the State House. The little monument is surrounded by timeline pictures of the war.
