a nice place to take your child or grandchild

In my visit to my mom house in Prospect Park, New Jersey, my sister Cindy decided that we should visit this beautiful Museum. We did it. It was a wonderful day my grand daughter Yesenia and my little nephew Adrian had a marvelous afternoon. This place has lot of children activities and both enjoyed the day. It was a great... More

This is a wonderful place to take your children. There are many indoor activities for your children to enjoy. From dress up for the girls to bouncing and slides for all. The butterfly show is great for and it teaches all the metamorphosis of the butterfly. They have a time set aside for feeding them and children can join in.... More

I am not at all sure why this establishment is called World of Wings. It has a small one room atrium in which there are some live butterflies, but the rest of the museum (?) is a series of disjointed rooms and activities. If you are a photographer, as I am, you will like the beautiful tropical flowers in the... More

Kids 8 and under will enjoy it but for those older the options are limited. We completed everything a 13 year old could see in an hour.

If we had not used a Groupon I would give this place only 2 stars. For a butterfly museum, the actual room with live butterflies was so small and there were only about a dozen we spotted while visiting. The weird dead bug art was creepy and bizarre. The play areas were ok. Overall the place needs a makeover and... More

My husband and I really enjoyed the reptiles and insects on display near the ticket counter, as well as the butterfly garden. However, once you do those two things, you quickly realize that the rest of the venue consists of themed rooms for children to have birthday parties, and ballroom/conference room spaces for events. It was a little disappointing; we... More

World of Wings a great place for a day out with Family. The main butterfly atrium is not that big, but is decent. You need to watch your step as the staff would already tell you, because these beautiful winged insects might just be resting themselves a bit on the ground. If you are interested in photography, I would advise... More

What a fantastic experience at World of Wings with their photography morning. Fiona Brims and the World of Wings staff have put together a great mornings photography at this venue photographing various birds of prey in flight and posing on a perch. I can honestly say I will be back
