WE came to Spring Lake for a romantic weekend and stayed at a Bed and Breakfast near the beach. Spring Lake is a very pretty town with nice inns and wonderful restaurants. The downtown area is cute, nothing extravagant, but with some cute stores. The...More

Trip advisor and most of the reviewers on here are ill-informed. Visitors to Spring Lake should be aware of this before visiting. This beach used to be much quieter before the internet ruined everything and told all the obnoxious tourists about it.

This was my first visit to Spring Lake and was pleasantly surprised at the beautiful area. First, the town itself is stunning...gorgeous mansions line the street across from the beach. There is plenty of free parking and it's very easy to find. There is a...More

Peaceful. Historic. Calming. Charming. Relaxing. What a beautiful place to spend time anytime of the year.

Nice boardwalk. No tacky stands or cheap food stands. Beach was nearly empty late in afternoon on a beautiful August day. Place was clean. Relatively easy to find free parking not too far from beach. I would go back

Not sure if it worth $10 pp and how can you call it quiet? May be on Monday? The beach in Spring Lake is not bad, but not much different from other beaches in the area. The price keeps people away, but it's still crowded....More

Extremely clean. Easy to park. Not crowded at all. Ban on coolers strictly enforced - well worth the $10 per person cost.

I always have enjoyed Spring Lake beaches. Growing up we had a house in Spring Lake and spent a lot of time in the area. I like that the beaches are kept clean by not allowing people to eat or bring large coolers on the...More
