The boardwalk was ok... Very overpriced compared to others. It is like being at a carnival. Same stuff over and over. Pizza with flies and not much else. 20 bucks to park unless... read more

It's an average beach that costs 9 dollars to access. You have to park your car and walk over and the amount you pay to park your car varies on which lot. It is just a good day trip. If your gonna vacation there for a couple of days your better off staying at driftwood motel they have a private... More

The boardwalk was ok... Very overpriced compared to others. It is like being at a carnival. Same stuff over and over. Pizza with flies and not much else. 20 bucks to park unless you can find a meter... 6 bucks per person to even get on a very over crowded beach... Unreal. It was cool being at the jersey shore... If you like a flat surf and a hot crowded beach, where you have to pay to sit on the sand and pay to park your car, this is the place to go. A drive up and down this part of the coast is interesting as far as looking at the housing developments but not to see a good coastal... More

I have lived in Point Pleasant Borough (next to Point Pleasant Beach) for more than 15 years. My kids worked on the Boardwalk all through High school. Most of what you read regarding the beaches and Hotels and Restaurants is correct. I would not take anything way from them. Many are my friends. But as far as the town itself,... More

nice, wide beach, can be crowded Fridays through the weekend. Small boardwalk with the usual food selections and overpriced games. Nice Aquarium on the boardwalk, Jenkinsons. A bit pricey to get into the beach, $9 per person weekdays, $10 weekends. Parking can be $2.25 to $3.00 per hour, depending on the day you go. Park a few blocks away for... More

Used to be laughed at when I was younger. Nobody went here. Just a place to drive through on your way to a 'nice' beach further south on the island. It seems to have grown up and is popular with a new generation. Beach is fine. Less crowded than Belmar. Has amusement rides for younger people as well as some... More

BEFORE you even step onto the beach, $9 per adult, $2 child to just walk onto the beach. Parking, meters or pay to park in someone's lot (around $20). So before your feet hit the sand you are looking at around $40 (give or take a few $) for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. The beach is... More

I grew up at the Jersey Shore in the area of Point Pleasant Beach and spend my summers there. I love Point Pleasant Beach and Boardwalk but I know that it can be very expensive for a family. On weekends the daily badges are $10 for adults and children over 12. Parking is $25 in the Jenkinson parking lot. There... More

Clean beach, plenty of "beach" to enjoy. Daily rate is high at $9/day, but that's the rate up that end of beaches.
