Love walking this boardwalk

Great place to visit and fun boardwalk. Not loaded with barkers and crappy food stalls. Homes are right up against the boardwalk.

Have been vising regularly from many years - but the beach and parking enforcers are rude , a pain for decent folks visiting the beach to have a good time and getting bad with each season... Received a 6 minute-over ticket during a 3 hour parking - they do not even wait for someone to walk back and add extra... More

I've been hunting sea glass for a while, but I found the most ever on Point Pleasant Beach!!! We went during the off season so it was nice to not have to buy a ticket. We could just walk right in...

It was a nice beach, it was chilly so we didn't swim, the waves were high , Will definitely go back in warmer weather!

Point Pleasant beach has it all. Besides the sandy beaches and sunshine there is a lively boardwalk with a variety of entertainment offerings and tons of food choices, not to mention the aquarium. It is also somewhat more family friendly than other shore locations. Parking can be a hassle during peak times (welcome to the shore!) so plan accordingly.

Point Pleasant beach is probably the only family beach left in Ocean County. There is plenty to do and games of chance for every age. Food of every kind is available from hot dogs to Spanish delight. Jenkinson's has rides for the young children and a water park across the street.
