We were visiting Ft. Mott and stumbled upon this National Cemetery. It happened to be Memorial Day and they had flags laid out all over, which made it as it they were the headstones. Its very sad though, really touches your soul.

This is a every well keep National Cemetery . A lot of history for civil war buffs to the present day. Always attend memorial day services hold by local VFW post 1952 and Marine corp league. Honoring those that gave their all. Great place to visit along with Fort Mott State park.

This is a small place but found the history of the place to be very interesting. From Civil war to present day military personnel are buried there.

If you are a civil war buff you have to experience the out of the way solitude that this place offers. While there be sure to visit Fort Mott and the Museum.

If any place can define that word, this is it. Small and well kept. Surrounded by a stone wall and Mother Nature. All you'll hear is the breeze; and occasional bird. Rarely see anyone else here. It's made even more Solemn, by the small, weather beaten bench, at the entrance. A Dedication to the Late caretaker, William Reese, from his... More

Loved my first visit to Finn's Point as an adult. So peaceful and serene. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Nice place to just get away and enjoy the silence. Half mile walk from Fort Mott. Take the paved walkway or nature trail. Highly recommended.

This historic cemetery is tucked away near Fort Mott & is very well maintained. It is a little piece of history that is definitely worth a visit if you are visiting the Park..

Very quiet and thought provoking. Learned a little we did not know about local history. Trying to put yourself in that setting centuries ago is fun.

This is the most beautiful setting for a cemetery I've ever visited, and I've been to Arlington. Very small, totally isolated, and very well maintained. Several thousand Confederate soldiers are buried here, along with some German POWs, and also some U.S. veterans. This small cemetery is surrounded by a stone wall, and on the other side of the wall are... More
