We used to go to this zoo a lot when the kids were very young. It is compact - just large enough to see everything and not tire out the young ones. It’s very safe and well maintained. There is a train ride that goes...More

Van Saun park is just large enough to make an afternoon interesting and just small enough so that you don't end up limping to the car. A long time favorite of the suburbs close by. The zoo has all your favorite animals and even a...More

The playground/ splash pad is perfect for a "heat advisory" in NJ! My 3 year old had a blast. the zoo is small enough that he will walk the whole thing himself.
