It is about a two and a half mile boardwalk. It is very family friendly with no smoking or vulgar language allowed. Many various attractions to see. Jillys t-shirt shop has customized shirts for a good price and Shrivers has a great selection of candy.

The boardwalk in OC is a little less congested and a lot nicer then Wildwoods. Just enough games but more shopping venues. We like the easy access from our condo and there are plenty of food places to eat at. Would recommend if you don't...More

Beautiful, Clean & eclectic new shops and beach has disability access. Great Fireworks on 4th of July. May need a few more public bathrooms for high season.

The New Jersey boardwalk had a lot of places to eat, games for the kids and benches for the older adults who need a break. I would recommend going in the morning because it is very busy in the evening.

Beach has designated areas with life guards. Impressed how one can see lifeguards swim, run, boat as part of staying fit for the job. Chairs and umbrellas available to rent.

I accept that swimmers need to be protected from surfers. My issue is the spot selected by someone as a Surfers Only area. The major entrance to the boardwalk should not be reserved for surfers.

The beach is always open for everyone. There is a small fee for a beach tag in summer. Boardwalk is fun morning, noon or night!
