We saw a James Bond concert with the New Jersey Symphony. Wonderful. We really enjoyed the acoustics and the seating. Unlike Broadway where you are cramped and uncomfortable, theses seats were very comfortable with more than enough leg room. The theatre also had adequate restrooms. We just loved the concert and would return for other events.

This was an old movie theatre back when I was an adolescent. It is wonderful that they have restored the theater and now it's not a movie theatre but more of a "show" theatre. It is located in a very good, safe area of New Brunswick with many nice restaurants nearby to visit. They are always adding shows, the last... More

Great shows at good prices. So many restaurants in the area. Parking is at the indoor garage a couple of blocks away.

So beautiful...lighting was great, hall was amazing. Attended a graduation ceremony there and would love to go back to see a play or a something there.

I have been here a couple years ago and returned with my son to see Robby Krieger of The Doors. The theater is nice, staff is friendly and getting in and out is easier than anywhere else you see a concert. Parking in city lots for a couple dollars per hour is available in a short walk. There are a... More

I have seen several hundred concerts at dozens of venues and this is one of the best. It is small but all seats are great and sound is also great. They serve alcohol so you can prep for the show, bathrooms are clean, tons of close and reasonable cost parking, what else do you want. My stadium and lawn seat... More

I went last week for the first time, what a beautiful historic venue. Sat upstairs in the balcony, seats were comfy and view to the stage was fine. Lighting and sound were great. I saw Brit Floyd, a tribute band.

I have been to shows all over, North Carolina, New York, Philly and here in New Jersey. Big stadiums, arenas, and smaller venues such as the State Theatre, in New Brunswick. I love going to see a show there. It's just the right size venue. The sound system is awesome. The sound from the bands is always mixed perfectly. I... More

I love going to concerts or seminars at the State Theatre. I have never had a terrible seat, and the price is affordable. Wonderful way to be able to enjoy the arts!
