Several times, when visiting our daughter at Rutgers, my wife and I have taken one- or two-hour walks through the Rutgers Gardens, hiking wooded trails along the river and walking through gardens and the bamboo thicket. We look forward to our next visit.

I've been coming here since I was able to walk as a baby. My parents have introduced it too me and I fell in love with this place. The Rutgers staff maintains the park and gardens so well, it truly is breathtaking. I love stopping by for a walk to clear my mind and even bring my camera if I... More

The gardens have been there for 100 years and improves every season. There is even an organic vegetable garden raised by volunteers. A gem. Become a member.

Rutgers Gardens is a pretty, peaceful place where there's usually something going on. There are plant sales by local farmers as well as locally-grown food. I know they have a food co-op as well. I never joined, but a friend did and really liked it.

A great place to see and learn how to garden and appreciate agriculture. There is a chapel there where wedding ceremonies took place. The grounds are a great place to kick back and enjoy the scenery.

Lovely place to walk around espically in the summer when all is blooming. They also have a gourmet market that sets up during the summer right off ryders lane and all of the food is delicious!

I love walking in Rutgers Gardens most months of the year. Lots of trails that are well marked and maintained, and many different types of flowers and plants that I enjoy throughout the year.

This place is super pet friendly and it doesn't take long to walk through the different trails. The best part is the woods right by the water.

Truly an amazing place. Nature commune in the middle of the busiest roads of New Jersey. Great Trails. The Bamboo garden is refreshing. Try Geo Caching
