I feel lucky to have the center so close, and my family and I have been visiting for years. They once took in an injured woodpecker I found on the road. They have many birds of prey on display that after severe injuries cannot be returned to the wild. The owls are particularly cool and you can sometimes get fairly... More

The place is a must see. The birds that are there are beautiful and majestic. The people who care for them are wonderful. This is a great place to bring the kids to see birds up close.

Fantastic place to visit. This place does wonderful work rescuing injured birds of prey and we get a chance to see them up close. It’s not big, but it’s still worth the visit. It’s free – but worth leaving a donation for the work they do. It’s also a great place for doing some birding. I had the chance to... More

If you are a huge fan of raptor birds, or even just owls, this place is the place to go! Plenty of birds to look at up close, but pictures of them will be difficult due to the cage type and fencing. I loved the tiny little owls all clustered sleeping on a perch! So many beautiful birds that were... More

Having heard of the good work being done by this place I took my grandkids there. It is outside so if the weather is bad I would not go. There are many raptors on display, these birda could not be released so they keep them there on display. It was great to see them up close. They have a web... More

Some of the birds perch right near the front of the cage and you can look at them up close. My favorite was the Barred Owl. We also saw a wild Great Horned Owl fly onto branch and hang out for a while. There is a feeding station where many small birds are constantly coming for a quick snack.

My Mom is into owls. Owl figurines and pictures all over her home. Wanted to spend time with her as my Christmas gift to Her vs buying Her a gift. Visited here a few days after Christmas. Saw many owls and other raptors. Self guided. Nice quiet location. All cages are outside so dress appropriately. Clean restrooms. Great way to... More
