We took our dogs to Fisherman's Cove dog beach to see if they like the beach. I read several different reviews and was not sure what to think. It was a nice experience. It is a small beachfront. There are a lot of small pebble...More

Great spot on the Manasquan River where one can swim with their dog or walk a few more steps and sunbath without the dogs. Great place to sit and watch the fishing boats coming and going out the inlet.

I don't know if I went to the wrong place, but as you can see it looked nothing like the pics here. I have never seen so much seaweed in one place ! There were tons of broken shells, beer bottle pieces and bones in...More

It's the doggie beach! Your dog will thank you for visiting. It's friendly, fun and there's lots of room to run around. Easy for dogs to swim (gradual drop-off in water depth). Hard to beat. One of the many great things about squan.

Great place to let your dog frolic in the sand and surf, but go at low tide as there is little beach. Also, plan to wear flip flops or water shoes as there is so e debris and lots of funky shells around!

Nice paths along the Manasquan river by the dog beach. Especially nice at night to see the sunset. Views of Point Pleasant across the river.

We live nearby and enjoy the tranquility of Fisherman’s Cove during the off-season. We also launch our kayaks on the Manasquan River from the Cove. However, summer weekends can be crazy with dozens of dogs in the area, many of them unleashed and the owners...More
