Science of the Times

Great place for kids and adults alike. You'll probably be surprised at the different exhibits that the kids like as opposed to their parents.

Excellent museum. Can be pricey for a family outing but we were able to get a Groupon. My daughter was too young to truely appreciate all the museum had to offer, but she was less than 2 years old at the time- although she lived the Dora the Explorer exhibit they had at the time. Tons of hands on activities... More

Very nice facility with a mix of activities to interest all ages. Our group of 4 adults (ages 30-50) and a 12 year, enjoyed the Mythbusters and Illusion exhibits best. You need at least three hours to fully experience all it has to offer and could easily spend 4-6 hours if you are hands on.

At 3:30 pm on May 12, 2017, the Parking Attendant allowed us to get into the parking lot charging charging us $7.00 parking fee because she did not have any clue what time the facility closes, she said, all she knew is that she's is leaving at 4:00 pm. My foreigner visitors with children were so disgusted with this kind... More

I think this place is great with a huge caveat - It gets overcrowded very quickly! The day i went, the younger kids' chaperones / teachers / parents didn't monitor their behavior. There were also wild teen agers there when my twins' school group went. Why were the teen agers there? The LSC is designed for younger kids!

I wasn't sure whether my toddler would be too young for the LSC, but it ended up being such a fun experience for us all. We went on a Monday and it was not crowded at all. We parked right by the entrance and we easily got around with a stroller. Our son stayed in the Iexplore exhibit for well... More

LSC comes up with special exhibits and on these days, the Center is pretty crowded. For example, they had a Star Wars exhibit and they had a Titanic Exhibit. Those were popular exhibits that I would suggest visiting the place on a weekday, if at all possible. If weekends are your only options, be prepared to brave the crowds and... More

Each time we take the the kids they remember a bunch and teach you. They explore and see new thing every time. There is to much there to take in on just a few visits. Watch out adults you might learn something new each time too!! There is always the usual in the building foam blocks and wood blocks but... More

Liberty Science Center is definitely worth visiting. Whether it's the various exhibits or demonstrations or IMAX theater you will leave there knowing more than when you walked in. Great informed staff .
