The lighthouse has so much history. There's a cool museum located at the house. You can go up into the towers, and get an awesome view of the N.Y. skyline. The stairs are small and winding, but easy to navigate. Great place for a picnic!

I grew up in the area and moved after I graduated HS, but never visited Twin Lights while I lived in the area. So after visiting multiple times over the years, and never showing up when they were open, we finally made while they were open on this visit. While we were there, they also had the flag exhibit. I’m... More

It's 250' above Sandy Hook Bay with great photo opportunities of the bay, ocean and NYC particularly from the North End Tower. The climb to the tower top is 64 steps up a tight spiral staircase but it's free as is the museum itself. They do accept donations. On some occasions the South Tower with it's 65 steps is also... We were lucky enough to visit on a very clear day. If you know the area you can pick out a variety of landmarks on the long horizon. Ample parking outside the attraction. To go to the top of the tower is free, but a donation is appreciated. Small souvenir shop with a number of appropriate mementos. Included here are... More

This lighthouse is one to visit. It is not on the water but high up on a hill. The twin lights and the large, beautiful stone connector are truly wonderful. You are able to view NY City from here. A real treat !

We visited here with friends from South Jersey ( we are from the UK ) as we had been staying in Red Bank for a concert and this was on our way back to Atlantic county. What a wonderful place! The day was perfect and clear and so much to see. Loved the lights themselves. Both were open and we... More

This is a beautiful historic museum and the views of the ocean and New York are stunning. This apparently one of the highest coastal points in east coast. Worth a trip by bike or from the city take SeaStreak ferry.

Been here a few times many years ago. Was great to share the area with my son. Little lighthouse enthusiast👍🏼. Has an amazing view. Nice grounds. Benches to sit and relax.

Unique historic lighthouse - actually two lights. Great visit in conjunction with Sandy Hook lighthouse a few miles away. On a clear day, there are tremendous views of Sandy Hook, with New York City in the distance. The climb to the top of the lighthouse is easy – only a few dozen steps. The museum includes a limited-time display of... More

We visited the place here today with my family including grand-kids. It was fun. We climbed the stairs of the Northern Tower, admired the spectacular views and visited the small but well maintained museum. This place has a great location and interesting history - it definitely is worth a visit.
