If you and your young ones love rocks and minerals, this is a really nice place. I'd recommend this over the Sterling Mine Museum. The facilities are kept a lot cleaner, the bathrooms are a lot nicer and they have a lot more on display....More

I went as a chaperone on.a school trip with grade school class. Great for students over third grade. Educational and fun. The best museum around.

there are many rooms of so many different rocks, including ones that are flourescent. there are some interesting items to purchase in the gift shop.

Nice! lots of mining history in Franklin . Good for smaller kids but the Sterling Hill mine in nbearby Ogdensburg is much better and well worth the $$ .
