I went here during fall, very clean and peaceful, a lot of activities offered, they have museum, very informative, has path trail for people who loves adventure trecking of hiking, great spot for sunset viewing facing the vast lake. Can't wait to go back on spring time. Good for family, couple educational and adventurous people who like to meditate.

This is a great place for learning and for just walking in a preserve in the middle of the Megalopolis.

What an interesting, lovely spot: we visited with the "wild residents" both inside the space, & outside on a walk (snakes, birds, frogs, turtles & butterflies). Also bought honey/beeswax soap - the boutique has lots of fun gifts to choose from. A great stop for a breath of fresh air & family learning visit.

The Plainsboro Preserve is a beautiful location that is part of the NJ Audubon Society. The nature center is gorgeous and contains large windows where you can view birds at their feeders and also another spot overlooking the lake. Be sure to bring your binoculars if you enjoy bird watching. There are numerous hiking trails and programs available. This is... More

My hiking group walks in this preserve when we want to take a less strenuous walk. the trails are well marked and have a variety of wooded and non-wooded areas. You can easily spend a couple of pleasant hours there. There is also a nice Audubon sponsored visitors center with a shop and nice bathrooms. there are periodic family programs... More

The Plainsboro Preserve is a wonderful place to visit, take walks, do bird watching and checking out streams. It has over 5 miles of flat trails through the woods. Our favorite is the one to the point that takes you out to Maggie's point in the lake. Depending on the time of year, you will see birds, butterflies and much... More

What a lovely day at the Plainsboro preserve. It is on our doorstep but we haven't used it before. Today we decided to get out for a walk with the children but didn't want to go far and what an adventure. It was really quiet and absolutely beautiful. We did the Blue trail and we all enjoyed it. We went... More
