Beautiful area!

I love Cape May. It's such a beautiful relaxing area to visit. Not overcrowded like some point of interest can be during the summer.

The Cape May Lighthouse is nice to see, but its location is great for nature lover's too. Not only is the beach right there, but there are nature trails as well. On our last trip there we saw deer, muskrats, a fox, rabbits and lots of different birds. The paths are easy, but it can be windy. We went back... More

A nice attraction to visit when at the park. A great view and an important part in our country's national lighthouses. Provides a nice view of the Delaware coastline also.

Had a wonderful hour and half walk along the grounds of the lighthouse. Plenty of places to picnic. There was a bunder on the sand from World War II. THe lighthouse has 199 steps to climb which we did not do. Took lots of photos of swans and an old turtle.

Perfect place for lighthouses lovers! It has outstanding landscaping arround - beach line and park with trails - for walking, hiking and biking. It was nice to find there small museum with educational center. Also free parking is a plus!

Our visit to the lighthouse was very interesting something not to be missed. 6 levels. 30 steps on each level and 180 steps in all. The view from the top incredible!

I may be a little bias, but I have visited Cape May Point for 60 years, been to many lighthouses, and this is the most majestic one I've ever seen. Lots of history here and there is a great museum right in the same park. In season it is open to the public and you can climb to the top... More

The park service offers educational opportunities here. The beach is beautiful. There is a museum and you can go up into the lighthouse - though we can't manage a lot of steps, so we didn't go inside.

It was a nice but windy day. I appreciate that times are financially challenging but charging $8 for me and $5 for my 3 year old granddaughter to walk 199 steps to the top was a bit steep...pun intended. The view was high but not much more. The boardwalk was not at all what I expected...it was merely a ramp... More

You admission fees go towards helping maintain the Tower so future generations can appreciate both the view and the history. A repainting project is planned and it has a $130,000 price tag. You may have missed the nature trails near the hawk watch platform. there are several trails that take you through the park where you can see nature close... More

The light house and surrounding nature preserve is a fabulous place to visit in Cape May. This light house is comparatively easy to climb and the view is worth the effort. The lakes that surround it are an immersion into untouched nature. The beach is beautiful.

Thanks for visiting. The view from the top of the Lighthouse is about as good as it gets and the State Park is a wonderful place to spend the day. More
