If you don't mind a few (or 200!) steps, this is a great lighthouse. You can go all the way to the top and go outside for a great 360-degree view. There is a knowledgeable person at the top (and bottom) to answer any questions...More

it a cool light house.. great free parking and ni beach front park.. great view from the top. be prepared for alot of steps. lol ... great place for the family

Year round trails that are buffered from the ocean winds in the winter allowing folks a lovely way to enjoy the outdoors even on the coldest if days.

There are well marked paths here of varying lengths that wander through the wooded area behind the dunes. Great for a peaceful walk or bird watching.

Lafayette st - near the acme - probably 2 miles from ferry - not sure if anything closer
