I had heard good things about Peony's envy and after a couple of years meeting them at the garden show I purchased 6 (expensive ) plants. One was dead in the bag, and the rest have grown but not great. I am an avid Gardner, have other peony plants, and did exactly as they instructed. When I contacted them about... More

This place is a Nursery as well as a view-able flower garden. It is surrounded by a lush green wooded area that seems to be coming right out of a storybook. We had seen the owner featured on a Martha Stewart show, and had immediately listed this place on our bucket list at that time. We are immensely glad that... More

Our garden club took a trip here on 5/26/2016, nearly a 1 1/2 drive for us, and it was well worthwhile. Very little was in bloom near the parking lot but behind the house were hundreds of magnificent peonies of all colors in full bloom although most of the tree peonies had finished their blooming. Wow! What a treat that... More

Well designed gardens and knowledgeable staff. We are keen gardeners and enjoyed our visit and would return. Unfortunately the weather wasn't favorable but we still were glad we visited. The flowers that were in bloom were magnificent. We were a little early in the year to see the full flowering and would suggest to call ahead if coming from a... More

It's well worth the trip from anywhere to see these gardens. The peonies are spectacular in every shape and color you can imagine. Kathy, the owner, is a lovely and knowledgeable, and can guide you to purchase what's right for your collection. If you're not interested in purchasing peony plants, you can purchase beautiful cut flowers. When I was there,... More

Visited Peony's envy on 5/14/2015 & we were very disappointed that not many peonies were in bloom. Before we entered, we thought it would be a good idea to come back another day, but we were convinced by the woman at the gate that there were many, many flowers in bloom so we paid $15 for three people only to... The owner loves her Peonies and is out and about amongst her plants, which she eagerly attends to. She is also very helpful, if you have any questions. I recommend being careful on the timing of your visit. Peonys Envy is fantastic, but it you come a bit too late or a bit too early in the season, it is... More

If you are an aficionado of all things Peony related, Peony's Envy is a place you must visit. This nursery only raises unusual Peony cultivars, which are for sale on site or mail order. During the growing season one may visit and see all of the blooming peony's in all of their glory.

This is the place to see thousands in bloom (Best time is at the end of May, beginning of June). You need Garmin to help find this little farm in Bernardsville, tucked in a shady nook at the end of a small road but we thoroughly enjoyed seeing the rows of colorful peony plants along the street and under all... Sitting on an eight-acre property with well maintained paths that allow you to appreciate closely one of the most beautiful genre of flowers - the peonies (500 different cultivars from four major types: woodland, tree, herbaceous, and intersectional), considered the king of flowers in China. From late April to late May, their web site provides timely information on what types... More
