We went as early as we could, and good thing too! Popular spot for tourists and locals to enjoy the scenic coast and free little beach area. It's not too pricey to climb up the lighthouse and enjoy the spectacular vista of the NJ coast....More

This is a great place on LBI that can be either for couples or families or friends to explore, and lots of people come for the fishing.

It's hard to imaging a more beautiful view from across the Barnegat Bay. My last visit was part of the NJ Lighthouse Challenge - you visit all of the NJ lighthouses in one weekend. My wife and I climbed all of them - your calf...More

Make the climb up the lighthouse just for the views. It is amazing. Don't ascend if there is a school group there as the top gets crowded.
