Such a great place to go watch a movie old school style. I've been there quite a few times, but have to say watching Into The Wild was probably my favorite movie I ever watched there. The venue helped to set the mood as to what Chris McCandless was experiencing as far as giving up on the riches of life... More

You don't even need to know what's playing--if it's at Town Hall, it's worth your time. From old silent films (sometimes with live music) through classics (The Grapes of Wrath or the annual showing of It's A Wonderful Life) to documentaries, premieres, and current hits, the theater presents terrific films. Reasonable prices, good seating, friendly atmosphere, and a sense of... More

Whenever I go to the Town Hall Theatre I am reminded of Peter Bogdonovich's "Last Picture Show". No, we are not in Texas, but are at a place out of time. And that is the best part of a show at the Town Hall. Just go.

Great popcorn and drinks that won't break the bank. Check out the downtown if you come early enough. Check out Nelson's Candy.

The Wilton Town Hall Theater dates back to the days of vaudeville and silent film. In fact they still regularly showcase the best of the silent era. Basically it is a City Arts Cinema programming in the scenic hills of NH. The programmer rips your ticket and welcomes your input. A historic treasure not to be missed. I travel several... More

Great local movie theater. The show some current movies but also show classics too. Tired the super moogumbo theaters with gallon size cups of soda and buckets of two day old popcorn check this charming theater out

The theater is a step back in time, to small town America going to the movies. If you expectation is a modern theater with modern conveniences, this is not the place for you. But if you to watch movies in an environment that harkens back to the days when movie watching was a communal experience, this is the place. The... More

This theater is a blast from the past. Located above the Wilton town hall, the main theater harkened back to the early 20th century, when it served as a showcase for plays and musicals. There's a smaller 2nd theater in the former green room. Great movies, delicious popcorn and lemonade, and your change may come in two dollar bills.

Wilton's historic theatre experience transports you back to the good old days. Contemporary and old films, low prices and intimate theatre seating, makes you remember why you loved "going to the movies". Grab a bucket of real buttered popcorn, a soda and maybe a Klondike Bar and settle in for the thrill of actually watching a movie with a room... More

Love the old seats, plenty of room. Where else can you see a great movie, with a large popcorn and a drink for less than ten bucks! Also shows alternative movies that aren't shown elsewhere. Best place ever!
