My husband visited after our innkeeper told us that the views were something not to be missed. Oh boy what views were seen! On all sides at the top were breathtaking views of mountains and rivers and lakes. We also took the tour of the...More

People of northern New Hampshire owe gratitude to John Wingate Weeks who created what later became Weeks State Park. His heirs donated it to the State of New Hampshire, but he created this great park, with a tower and house (now a museum). Go and...More

Easy hike up the car path. Some branching trails, but we didn't explore. We went on a rainy day and still had great views with the breaks in the clouds. Would be incredible on a clear Fall day!

Historic home of the famed senator and conservationist. Many original furnishings and accoutrements, in a beautiful setting. The ranger gives an up-close tour, and is rather enthusiastic in a quiet New England way. The tower is off to the side of the house.

Wow! Totally worth a visit. You can drive right up to the top of the mountain and can park within about 50 yards of the tower and nearby museum. The stone tower has about 40 sturdy metal stairs with hand rails leading to the observation...More

We visited the park when we were visiting NH in August. We did the nature walk and climbed to the top of the tower, which has amazing views of the White Mountains including the Presidential Range.
