Quiet, clear lake. Great for kayaking, swimming. Only one power boat on the lake the whole vacation week. Most houses had pontoon boats docked

Peaceful! It's just small enough that it's not overcrowded, yet big enough that you can have a little fun in a motor boat. Decent fishing, excellent bass fishing, one end is wide open, the other is a river with lily pads, turtles, herons and geese....More

We love this lake. It's quiet, not so many boats that you can't enjoy your trip. Th scenery of the mountains, especially the foliage was spectacular.

It is a small, but gorgeous lake with a wonderful public beach that costs nothing to park! The lunch stand has food/drinks at exceptionally low prices. There are islands on the lake with lovely, small, sweet blueberries. Far end has lots of Lilly pads.

Small size and average fishing- one end is very shallow and full of the usual water plants although there is a very narrow center channel that is marked for motorized boats, but we were in kayaks and still struck bottom a few times!

The Lake is about 1.5 miles long and is beautifully clean and in August was pleasantly warm. There were a few boats on the lake off and on but for the two days we were there it was quiet and peaceful. There was a private...More
