Not my favorite tour of Portsmouth homes, but our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. It is worth the visit, IMO.We did not get to see the gardens as there was a wedding when we were there.

The building is beautiful inside and out, but there's hardly any furniture in it -- did it get destroyed, sold off, what? It was disappointing in comparison to the other historic museum homes in Portsmouth, as well as dozens of nationwide historic homes I've visited....More
