Pretty sights in Orford

Small cute town in middle of New Hampshire and Vermont. Houses are woth to see. Recommend walking at the street. Connecticut river is just great!

Small cute town in middle of New Hampshire and Vermont. Houses are woth to see. Recommend walking at the street. Connecticut river is just great!

Nice little New England town. Worth a visit! It is right on the Connecticut River and there are nice views.

If you are touring the area, don't miss a short detour (Fairlee exit on I-89 and cross bridge to Orford village -NH RT 10). Unlike any other New England village, here the town's wealthy erected mansions (some by Bulfinch) on a ridge set back from the road and surrounded by large gardens. All are privately owned but what a sight!... More
