I wanted to give this garden a good review, but I had a very unfortunate experience. The gardens were lovely, but my time there was anything but peaceful. The whole time I was there I was surrounded by two or three very noisy power trimmers. It ruined the entire experience, I couldn’t get out of there quick enough. It’s ironic because the brochure says that they employ the use of old-fashioned tools to give a peaceful, serene experience. This was like having your neighbor power up his tools at 6 AM on a Sunday morning. They could’ve easily have done this work in the off hours so that those trying to enjoy the gardens could do so. If you pull up in the parking lot and hear these obnoxious tools, save your 10 bucks and keep on driving.

What a neat spot along the coast! We spent an hour walking the gardens and enjoying the beautiful flowers and trees right off the coast.

At first glance, it becomes obvious that these gardens are well manicured and that roses are the dominating flower. Fuller Gardens is not very large, as it can be walked at a leisurely pace in an hour, of course more with closer inspection. In fact, the parking lot and entrance area equal a similar space as the gardens. Traveling from New Jersey in early June, we were surprised that the roses were not yet in full bloom here up north. Roses are primarily displayed in both the Side Garden and Front Garden, with other flowers dotting the perimeters. Also of note are the walk around Japanese garden and the conservatory where there's an outstanding display of succulents. Every plant in the gardens seem well cared for to bring out the best of what nature offers. This is a must stop when touring the area.

These gardens are quite spectacular. Lots of roses and other flowers, a beautiful conservatory and a Japanese garden. The color and flower combinations are beautiful and the gardens as a whole are perfectly manicured. An amazing variety of roses and dahlias, along with many other kinds of flowers. Flowers are labeled. One of the nicest stops we made in the Hampton area. We loved it.

We came mid July and there were very few roses in bloom but the dahlias made up for it. Spectacular blooms. The greenhouse has the most extraordinary collection of succulents.

So many beautiful flowers! Came in early June so roses, rhododendron, azaleas and peonies were in bloom. Well worth the visit even if a little out of your way.

I've lived in New England all my life and had never heard of Fuller Gardens until recently. It's a beautiful formal garden (actually a few different gardens on one estate) with a very interesting history. We visited in late August, mainly to see the dahlias, but there were lots of late summer roses in bloom. Everything was amazing! The grounds are pristine with statuary here and there. There is the formal rose garden with pathways wide enough to accommodate a mobility scooter. There is also a Japanese garden (across a small pathway) that is a nice shady respite from the hot summer sun. Lots more to see, best not to spoil it by printing it all here. Just go - it's worth it.

We got free tickets but it would have been worth the $9 charge. Tons of roses, a collection of dahlias, a Japanese garden, and an English garden. In the greenhouse, there were succulents, ferns, exotics and the biggest staghorn fern I have ever seen. Only complaint was the weed wacker wielding Gardner that seemed to be following us around. Maybe don't go at 10:30 on a Thursday. They don't open until 10:00 so wonder why he couldn't have done the noisy garden work earlier,
