I have been to cathedral ledge many times and the view never disappoints!! You can see far and wide from the view point and it is amazing. It's quick and easy to get to and perfect for families.

Until reading tripadvisor I was unaware of the autoroad which winds and climbs ( mostly) to the top of Cathedral Ledge where the lichen covered trees and mounds of rock then lead you to the edge of Spectacular. We visited this site twice on the...More

Even climbed the face of it. Cathedral ledge is approachable from a number of ways. It's a land mark just west of downtown North Conway, across the Saco. It offers great views and interesting people enjoying it. Don't throw anything off from the top climbers...More

I never even knew this place existed in the 34 years I have been in New Hampshire. If you are in the North Conway area it is well worth the effort to drive up to the top of the ledge. There is a viewing area...More

I do not recommend climbing up ( and I don't even mean the rock face either), but well worth the drive. Beautiful view of the whole valley; Echo Lake, Mt Cranmore, etc. Photo shoot opportunity for all levels.

The ledge gives you a great view of the area but really... it's just a ledge! You go to see a view ,sit on the rocks for 5-10 minutes and then you're done.

Always a great hike and walk around the lake! Lots of snow and ice but still able to get around. Sun was warm on the beach and we sat and rested for a bit.

You can walk up or drive up and watch the rope climbers and rock climbers along the cliffs doing their thing. , bring a lunch or snack and enjoy it all.

Great spot to put on snow shoes and hike around the ledge down to Echo Lake. My kids love this spot and have since they were little. Beautiful views of the ledge and ice climbers.

Some of the best views around. What a reality check as you can get very close to the edge. We actually saw people repelling down the face and hopped over the edge right in front of us! Very cool.
