This trip never disappoints. All of the beautiful scenery, mountains, water falls etc. There are lots of viewing spots, hiking trails and places to swim. Make sure you have a lot of gas in your car before you head through the highway as there is...More

A very nice scenic highway that was a very pleasant drive. We would most certainly take this highway again over a major interstate.

This road cuts through the White Mountain National Forrest from Conway to Lincoln. It is a beautiful, winding road with the occasional steep inclines/declines. The highway's highest elevation is 2,855 feet so get used to your ears popping. Use some common sense and don't bother...More

A great way to see the area and it's a shortcut to avoid North Conway if you are heading from the Storyland area south

Drove this road to get from Crawford Notch area to Lincoln NH in August, midday. The fog hadn't yet burned off so the few views were obscured. The signs for the scenic views are right before the pulloff so slow down and put your blinker...More

Spectacular drive during fall season. Fall colors are amazing. It's get crowded during that time, but not that crazy, start early so you can avoid the traffic specially on I-93 North.

This highway had been recommended by several people & it did not disappoint! The pull off views were spectacular!! There are plenty of places to get out & hike, as well! It was worth the extra few minutes it took to go through it.

Always a great ride unless you get stuck behind a slow cager or truck. Best in the autumn when the colors are at their peak.

The route as such is very nice, yet when we drove it in August it often was one car after another. We did it years back in April and that was much better.

Sunset is 7:14pm on the so plenty of time before it is dark. You've pretty much highlighted most of the places to stop with a view. But also have a look at Pemigewasset Overlook
