I would highly recommend King Pine to anyone visiting the Madison area in the winter/early spring months. The facilities for tubing are fab and there are three different runs so if it is busy there is always enough runs to ensure you get lots of goes. Also, on some evenings they do $10 tubing 😀. Good fun for people of... More

We came here to ski and 4/5 of us had never skied! The instructors were fabulous and it was such a great experience! Perfect weather and no crowds! Definitely will be back!

I couldn't rave enough about the personal attention I received as a mature adult first time skier. In the first group lesson, I ended up with a bunch of teens who barely needed any instruction . But the instructors saw immediately that I needed a slower pace and without asking I and another slower learner received a separate instructor. I... More

We had a nice time, offers a lot for our kids, everyone is really nice & accommodating. But our car was broken into, lots of things taken including my snowboard from the car. When we reported it to the police, he said mostly gear gets stolen from King Pine & there's been a little pressure on King Pine to install... More

My son and I went here for some skiing. I hadn't ski'd in over 20 years and it was his first time. We rented skis and the process was very smooth and easy. I purchased the passes and rentals online the day before and received a great discount. The small trails were great for us although we did not try... More

Tubing was great, 2 hours was plenty. Stopped by the tavern for a beer and had a good selection. New Years Eve was awesome, fireworks and glow stick skiers. What a perfect new years with a young family.

The weather during my visit was a wintery mix. It was constantly changing from snow to rain to sleet. Despite this, the trail conditions were phenomenal! Better than any other ski area that I have been to during the same conditions! Minimal ice! Every trail was open. It is a small hill but the variety of terrain kept me entertained.... More
