Dartmouth College is a private research University in Hanover that is part of the famous Universities that belong to so-called IVY league. College has a long history, starting from 1769. It is relatively small, and respectively is also the campus area. The Curriculum follows liberal arts tradition and provides undergraduate teaching in 40 academic departments. Dartmouth is a wonderful college to visit and Hanover is a charming New England town. Just wandering around campus and relying on serendipity will lead you someplace wonderful. If you need a destination, try Baker Library and the Orozco murals and Dr. Seuss room. Hopkins Center is often interesting. as is the riverside (near the boathouse) and the area around... More

The Hop is one of my favorite places in the Upper Valley. Shows, lectures, and concerts there are a great resource for the community. OSHER summer series fills up well, Christmas Revels is a requisite family favorite, and Handel Society concerts are sell-outs. Next Handel Soc. Concert is Dvorak's great work, Stabat Mater, and Bach' Magnificat.

Not really much to see here, it is a college, what else can you say. In the winter for years there was a statue build on the green, not any more.

No review needed, it is the most amazing place in the world. Beautiful, friendly campus with extremely intelligent kids. The sports are great (men's and women's hockey are awesome) and the football games are well attended and fun. The classes are interesting and extremely thought provoking and the campus and the area surrounding is absolutely gorgeous. There is not one... More

Campus is small but picturesque. What sets it apart from other Ivy League colleges is its setting in the woods in a very rural area. Buildings are brick fascade.

A tour of Dartmouth College was the motivation for our recent visit to Hanover in mid-December 2016. My husband, a member of the Class of 1984, gave us a personalised tour of the snow covered campus. We were free to wander around the grounds and were able to gain access to most of the main buildings and facilities, including Baker... More

I enjoyed walking around Dartmouth on a sunny day. It has plenty to offer with shops and good eateries nearby. I also enjoyed reading about Dr. Seuss and his time there.

Great campus setting in Hanover. Grab map inside admissions building if no tours going on (note: on Sunday this door was locked). Easy walk to everything including town across from the green.
