This small private garden is the work of one family who love to collect plants. Hidden away in Franklin, this garden provide a beautiful oasis. There are several trails to follow and you can follow all of them in a couple of hours. It's a gardener's garden. You can marvel at the different colors and shapes of so many different... More

Tucked away down a country road in Frankllin, NH, Tarbin Gardens offer a lush quiet zone, marbled with woodsy paths that meander through a variety of garden patches and tranquil corners of green. Throughout the Gardens, the owners have tucked numerous benches where you can sit a spell and listen to the many birds that populate the tall shade trees,... More

Came here for the high tea.. walked the gardens, it was like being in "wonderland". Very eclectic.. a bit disorganized, but fun none the less. Wear good shoes, paths can be bumpy. Tea was delicious. Lots of fun.

We visited these well designed gardens on a cloudy day. As the day progressed, it became a rainy day. Who cared? We enjoyed strolling the grounds of the many different gardens as well as seeing the various animals in the Barnyard. The owner was great at answering questions as he worked to maintain the grounds. Thankfully there was a covered... More

The Tarbin Gardens are located off exit 17 from 93. Just a short ride. The gardens are the brainchild of a family. Mother and son have developed winter spring and summer gardens. I believe there are some animals for kids. It's just a very nice place to visit. Something you wouldn' t expect. Easy walking paths.

From the moment we stepped through the gates,Tarbin Gardens was a peaceful respite full of beautiful sights and smells. The variety of plants and flowers will astound you (all well-labeled), and don't miss the afternoon English tea and pastries for an additional fee. You will think you have stepped back in time. There's a small petting zoo with beautiful Highland... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our walk through the various paths of this garden. Most of the paths are level and easy to walk. Many flowers and flowering bushes were in bloom. Seeing all this natural beauty was therapeutic. Everything is so well done which show the love and care of the owners/caretakers. The caretaker told us that there is something different... More

Well developed and beautiful gardens designed and looked after by the owner and family. Well worth a visit when in this part of NH. Simply lovely plants and 'blooms'. When you arrive sign up for afternoon tea served with delightful and sweet culinary delights. A true touch of Elizabethan England in our modern 'day'.

I have been here a number of times, bringing different friends over time after my first visit, several years ago. If I hadn't been looking for it, I would have passed it by. I was amazed at how expansive the area is to walk, but I have always chosen to do a self-guided tour. I can cover as little or... More
