The congregation of Hope Community Church was founded in 1881. It is an Advent Christian Church.
It is a small, white clapboard church situated in a scenic setting near an overpass for the Spaulding Turnpike. The church’s simple design is what I like most about it and find aesthetically pleasing every time I pass it. It’s totally unpretentious.
I rate Hope Community Church at 4.25 and can recommend taking a drive by it to appreciate simple, basic architecture.

On the first Saturday in December, I stopped by the Hope Community Church to see what they had at the Christmas Bazaar.
It was fairly quiet when I arrived during the lunch hour. There were only three other shoppers.
There were about a dozen tables set up. Many types of items were grouped together so it was easy to find a certain type of item.
In browsing all the tables, I saw a wide variety of things. There were lots of Christmas ornaments, crystal objects, and a large display of Longaberger baskets. There was a nice set of Christmas dishes.
Many of the serving pieces, especially the crystal, were heirloom quality to use for holiday meals and to pass down to the next generation.
As I was ready to leave, the ladies up front started talking to me. I recognized one of them. I hadn’t seen her since she retired from her position at a medical office I go to. We had a pleasant visit. When a delivery man came in with lunch for everyone, I left to let them enjoy their well-deserved lunch.
I rate my experience at the church’s Christmas Bazaar at 4.25 and can recommend a visit.
The reason for the delay in submitting this review was due to a months-long loss of my ability to post photos with my reviews and some health issues.
