Crocs, crocs and more crocs!

We did the river safari on a day trip out from Negril to YS Falls. The drivers seem to do the same loop - Black River, Pelican Bar and YS Falls. Its definitely worth doing this... read more

My husband and I went on this tour while we were in Jamaica for our honeymoon back in August (2016). I was a fabulous experience. My husband loved it there, I think he was only disappointed that he didn't get to swim with the crocs. During this tour, we were not disappointed otherwise. We were able to see all the... More

We did the river safari on a day trip out from Negril to YS Falls. The drivers seem to do the same loop - Black River, Pelican Bar and YS Falls. Its definitely worth doing this - it was one of my favourite things we did in Jamaica. You have a boat with a tour guide who talks through the... More

This was a nice river cruise showing native wildlife and foliage. Lots of crocodiles and wildlife. Good for kids and adults of all ages.

As part of a Black River-YS Falls-Appleton Estate tour from Montego Bay, this part of the trip took about 2 hours and included a set menu lunch. The boats are covered with big open sides so it's really easy to take photos and see all the crocodiles. Our tour guide showed us about a dozen crocociles; they are quite habituated... More

This boat trip is very peaceful and a good place to see crocodiles - we saw two large ones on the dock before we left and waiting for us to return! But the best part of the tour was the lovely herons - yellow and black-crowned, blue and tricolor herons, standing close to the water's edge. The tour is quiet... More

While floating down black river in a covered flat boat enjoying the natural surroundings of the river and surrounding rain forest, the captain describes the ecology and sites of the area. Encountering crocodiles close up and birds flying alongside our boat was common place. At one point we look across the flood preventing grass growing in the water and the... More

I went with work friends for the tour on a Saturday then went for lunch. It is very affordable and fun, the tour guide was very friendly and made the trip exciting and educational. The boat had rows of seat and were very comfortable. Take something to shade from the sun and ensure you have repellant. The sceneries were very... More

We had the boat to ourselves and it was a great time! The river is beautiful and the driver called two crocodiles over to the boat so we could see them up close. We also saw lots of interesting birds. The boat driver was friendly and gave lots of good information. He was cute too! We had a delicious lunch... More

This was part of my rum tour and I'm glad it went. We firstly had lunch there which was just ok. But the trip down the river was tranquil. Was fun seeing the crocodiles in their natural habitat and the gorgeous surrounding mountains. As with all trips it's annoying when the guide asks for a tip!
