Great natural cave… a bit remote, but worth checking it. Eventhough - 18 Euros for a 5 min floating in it . Not to mention transfer from nearest island Vis. It was 82 eur for 2 persons (in total) with cave enter fee. Whole trip was 2 hrs from Komiža, Vis island..

Blue cave is a cool event. Similar to blue grotto in Capri. The secrete is a private boat. They get better access. They can also meet you at your yacht so you do not have to take a 20 min trip from town. Once you get inside. Take pictures and enjoy the cave. If you have to choose. Pick the blue cave over the green cave.

As well if saw the movie, the hitmans body guard wife, look for the lighthouse and the cliff nearby, which is where they jumped in the movie.

The blue cave on Biševo island is one of those must-see places in Croatia. As Biševo is a small island, with no accommodation, the only way to access it for most people is as part of a boat tour from one of the surrounding islands (the nearest of which is Vis, approx 5km - Split is about 70km). It is extremely popular (over 100,000 visitors a year) and as a result access to the cave is restricted to licenced small boats, which means a wait of 30-60mins. Given the crowds the ticketing system is really well organised (12€/person) with a digital display indicating which batch of ticket holders are next. At the Biševo harbour, apart from the ticket office/gift shop, there are free public toilets and a cafe, with shaded seating.

The boat ride to the cave is relatively short 2-3mins but because of the size of the cave, they restrict the number of boats inside at any one time. The best time to visit the cave is between Depending on the season, the ideal moment to visit the cave is between 11am and midday, as at this time of day the sunlight reflects through the water coming from the white floor of the cave and bathes the grotto in aquamarine light, while objects in the water appear to be silver. It is simply magical, whilst each boat is only in the cave 5-10mins, you can't help soak up every second. It is like nothing I have ever experienced before.

We booked this tour through Viator months before we got to Dubrovnik.
Understandably it was canceled due to bad weather BUT no emailed us for further booking until 2 days later when we were on our way to Split Croatia.
We loved Dubrovnik & were very disappointed with the lack of communication through tour operators.

Very very cool but really small and a quick tour. Still very much worth it if you can work other things into the trip.

Very well organised and a memorable part of our holiday. Nothing can prepare you for how awesome the effect in the cave is until you are in there.

Awesome place to visit - we were lucky enough to have to chance to visit the cave and it was an amazing experience. The entrance feels a not claustrophobic but once inside it is a gorgeous display of nature!

It has the most beautiful blue color you can see in the nature. The cave is small but deserves a visit. Also the skippers that take you there are funny. Please tip them.

One of the worst places to visit due to the hired ''cavemen" i.e. barking dogs coming to a yelling and physical fight protecting the cave from tourists.
It is 4x more expensive than before, they are extremely rude, yell to everyone, they tell you you have to park your boat and pay for it, but if you leave it far away and dont go at their parking they will yell even more. Wont let you in with your own boat even though before you could. You stay less than 5 minutes there. They work on bad weather days, when the beauty of the cave is not seen, its dark and wavy.
Do not go there.

We visited the Blue Cave today. A fantastic experience. We had to wait for a while a boat to become available but the auto queing system is very efficient. Cost us 100 kuna each. This is a must see in Croatia !!!
