I took my two year old granddaughter to this event. She had a wonderful time visiting with the animals, riding a horse, walking through the corn maze, going on a hayride and trick or treating with all the costumed characters along the way. It was a perfect experience for her and everyone was wonderful at the farm. We are looking... More

Our daughter is 8. She has been to hayrides during the day, never scary. She kept asking for something scary. I decided to try there night scares because it was geared to kids after 8 but before teens. It started out slow but by the time we got thru the barn she was nervous. The corn maze in the dark... We had heard much about Charmingfare Farm, and stopped with our toddler grandson. Perhaps the special Halloween and Christmas events offer more. When we arrived they had no guide or map of the farm, so one really didn't know whee or how to tour. There were some special events such as horse pulled rides, pony rides, and tractor train ride.... Charmingfare is only 20 minutes away from Manchester which makes it a great place to visit when you have a few hours. My daughter had been a camper there and had very positive impressions so we went back today. It used to be better. Some of the animal enclosures hadn't been cleaned probably for several days and didn't have enough/appropriate... More

I took my granddaughter here last weekend. She has been here a few times but this was my first time with her where she got to visit the animal and go on a pony ride. This really is a nice farm not just for kids but also for food. They grow their own vegetables and have grass fed animals as... More

I have been to others, but not Charmingfare Farm. I was on a field trip with first graders who were very well behaved. The day was perfect . We walked around and saw many different animals, but the one thing that caught our eye, was that they were no signs at each stop identifying the animal and explaining a little... More

The farm part of Charmingfare is nice but the wild animals in the zoo? Seriously, why does a farm need a camel in captivity? The Lynx had no food or water bowls. The fox looked stressed out and anxious as did a lot of the other wild animals. The bear was nowhere to be seen. Really, capitalize on the farm... More

The day was beautiful and sunny and it was perfect for this event. We fed the animals and then took a wagon ride out to the sugar shack with some beautiful horses and Alexis, our driver who was so courteous and friendly. It was a great time learning about how to make maple syrup and then partaking in some warm... More
