This is the quintessential New Hampshire lake state park -- the water's clear and clean, with wonderful views of surrounding mountains and hills, and it has a nice beach. Safe place to bring the kids because there's no deep drop-off. And it's near a town...More

Spent most of the summer in and out. Great beach area. Wonderful place for children with the gradual depth. Can go down the sides if you don't want to be around children. Bring your picnic lunch- tables and grills available. Cleanest lake in NH!!!

Have not visited yet, checked it out today as people were rushing to take shelter from a sudden shower. Saw a sign that parking permits were needed. Does anyone know where to get them? Thx
