The boat ride itself is good, the journey across the lake is pleasant and the views as you arrive in Emerald bay are lovely. Our trip itself got off to a bad start as one of the tour coaches bringing in people was late so...More

I was not impressed with this boat ride. All it does is cross the lake to California side, circles a cove and goes back across the lake. It was very crowded. The crowds blocked the speakers so it was hard to hear the prerecorded tour...More

We visited in November, so couldn't do most types of activities out on the lake. I was dying to go out on the lake somehow, though, and was thrilled when I found this cruise online! (Most cruises/boats don't operate in the colder months.) All four...More

When I booked reservations for 7 in our group a week before visting Lake Tahoe. The representative said over 300 tickets were still available. Interesting when we board last weekend, the Dixie was completely SOLD OUT! I soon found out why.....all the people on our...More

Welcomed aboard with a glass of champagne and a nice smile. Seated immediately at nicely appointed white-cloth tables. Hint: the earlier you get there, the better your chances of a window seat. We were here in the Fall offseason and there were only about 50...More

We took this as a noon cruise. There wasn't a bad seat for taking in the lovely water/mountain views. There was a small amount of prerecorded history played over the speaker system but I wish it had been more. On the return trip, a 25...More
