2015 Reno Air Races!

We thoroughly enjoyed the 2015 Air Races! The pit pass is worth the extra cost. Food vendors had so many choices. We'll make sure to bring sun protection next time!

This was our first time to see the legendary air races. Enjoyed our box seats and pit passes that were a good bargain. Lots of interesting vendors for every kind of aviation memorabilia. Souvenir shirts and hats were affordably priced. Being first time attendees, we were not familiar with the parking, and signage from offramp to box seat parking could... More

Reno Air Races puts on a great show. It's not just races, They have exhibits, and this year they had the Breitling team doing their show. Sometimes they have the thuinderbirds. They have various skydiving and stunt flyers. Great commentators and of course the fasted race in the world. I go every year at least one day.

Homebuilts, biplanes, jets and the Unlimited air racers should on every race lovers list. This is a great event with air races and air shows. I have been going for 10 years and can't wait to return. Buses run from most of the hotels on a schedule. Quite a few are at no cost so check with the hotel. Lots... More

This was my second year attending the air races, and I'll be back in 2016. I love the static displays, and recommend getting a pit pass which allows you to get up close and personal with the race planes as well as high-end private planes which are displayed by dealers. There are always a few featured aerobatic acts which run... More

Must do for aviation types. Historic aviation + flight performances & excellent static displays, huge vendor offerings, souvenirs, food, beverages, security, first aid, its all covered. Besides the best of fixed wing offerings today. Horsepower & excellent airmanship galore. Rare & top condition aircraft , general & military aviation.

What could be better than going 500 mph over a course fifty feet off the ground? The fans and pilot have been coming here for decades and the reason is obvious. Many different types of airplanes from home-built to million dollar jets race right in front of the crowd. If you like the thrill of racing this is one that... More

I travel from Atlanta to Reno most years for the Air Races. There is simply nothing else like it! You can get up close to the planes, pilots and crews. The setting is gorgeous. the shows between the races are always good. Usually have a good military display. But the races are something to be seen. Watching every thing from... More

There is nothing in the world like the Reno Air Races. They are one of a kind, and attract visitors from all over the world. This event is pretty much dependent on the willingness of a about 6-10 people who through their largesse fund the Unlimited Class Air races. Just hope that this 52 year old event is there next...
