Lots of restaurants and movie theater next to this hang out place. Walked around and spent some time here while waiting for our next basket ball game at near by event center.

I was staying at an Air BnB near Idlewild Park and wanted to spend a few hours walking. I unexpectedly found the long bike trail next to the Truckee River and spent about 3 hours walking along it.

The river was swolen with snowmelt and was fast running, which added to the experience. There are a number of cool bars and coffee shops along the walkway and a large playground. Well worth a visit.

Yes, business will be open all year, sans the outdoor eating areas. More businesses and shops coming in all the time.
