Our family loves BaseCamp; and also, the Whitney Hotel! The climbing gym is fun and a good value for the pass, but the best part are the climbing walls outside of the building that ascend high over the "Reno Arch" a good 15 stories. Our daughter has been climbing there since the age of 9 and loves it!

It was actually my 13 year old nephew who did the climbing. The price is reasonable, the place is a little scimpy on decor. The staff was friendly and informative. Safety gear was provided. The inside is for practice and plenty of styles based on experience. After confortable with the process, we went outside to scale the side of the... More

I visited here on a Sunday while in town for business. The facility is well kept with quite a few climbing options both indoor and outdoor. With only having climbed several times in my life, I was unsure of the difficulty of climbing to the top of the outdoor wall. I was assured that it was definitely possible even for... More

My son loves this venue. We live in Reno and he bought a membership and goes at least 2 times a week.

This place has climbing for all levels. It even has an outside wall that is super cool. The staff had a teaching spirit unlike some walls I have been to. Can't wait to return someday...

This was a very fun event in downtown Reno. Staff was friendly and very helpful. There was climbing courses for every experience level, beginner, intermediate, and advanced. There are even different courses for kids and adults. If you're feeling extremely adventurous for an additional fee you can scale the side of the building.

Really well done climbing gym with a ton of option routes. There is also an outdoor wall the expands all the way to the roof!

I did not climb but we were just checking it out and it LOOKED AWESOME place to practice climbing before going out and giving it a shot on a big rock.

I visited basecamp while travelling to Reno for work and I thought it was amazing! It was $12 dollars for the shoes, the harness and as much practise time as we needed inside. It also included going up the wall on the outside of the hotel! The staff were so friendly and always happy to help and we had an... More

I am not the most experienced climber, actually I am a newbie to climbing. This was so much fun and a really great experience. The staff member that went out with me was very encouraging and helpful. I made it to the top of the easy route and felt like I conquered the world. One of my top 10 best... More
