Plenty of snow, not too crowded. Getting fitted out for boots and skis looked like organized chaos, but staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Took lessons, instructors varied from helpful and friendly to impatient. Learned to ski - great fun. Cafeteria was crowded and disorganized.

Skied here on New Year's Day with the family. It wasn't crowded and we had a great day on the slopes. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rode the lift with a ski instructor who had the day off and he was very helpful with knowledge of the area. Would highly recommend bringing your family to Mt. Rose.

Friendly staff, close free parking, plenty of runs, nice deck with lots of seating for non skiers. Very busy the week after xmas and the staff kept things moving as fast as possible. Convenient to get to from Reno or Incline Village

Mt Rose might not be the biggest resort in the Tahoe area, but from my experience it was one of the more enjoyable. Mt Rose boasts some of the Steepest runs around with the "Chutes" Double Black Diamond runs, although sometimes theyre not open if there isnt enough snow. But the best part is that if you have your own... More

Employees are friendly and fast! They offered me and my family a good package, I felt they tried to offer the best one for us with the best price. Amazing view and really nice lifts.

There was very little snow anywhere around Lake Tahoe the week before Christmas until we went up to Mt. Rose. Plenty of snow, a fantastic and large area of beginner runs and the lift lines weren't too bad. The staff was exceedingly nice as well. Lift tickets, while not cheap, are still a bit cheaper than some of the other,... More

The resort is in excellent condition and very good service, have a choice for every kind of person, and the snow activity are very well organized. The food is decent and plenty room for hanging around or enjoying the snow. I feel like is less people than Lake Tahoe. Is very close to Reno and de way is easy for... More

We had a family skiing trip for the first time with the young children of 5 and 7 years old. It is the closest ski resort from Reno and it was really easy to get. Kids took the first skiing class and we found all the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! My elder daughter had a bit of faint... More

A great place for winter sports. We could use some more snow. Lots of different things to do for all ages.

We've spent two visits at this ski resort, and we have been more than satisfied with our experience. Our 8 year old son has enjoyed his Rosebud ski lessons. The instructors are solid and let you know how your child did during the lesson. Our older son took an adult group lesson and was similarly satisfied with his lesson. The... More
