From advertisements, it would appear there was more to experience. We expected more shops and restaurants than there were available or open during our visit. Much tadoo about nothing.

What a great way to get some fresh air and enjoy a little bit of the outdoors right in the center of Reno! Walk along the Truckee River and enjoy all of the interesting parks and sculpture. The backdrop is the city on one side and the snow capped mountains on the other. I enjoyed a nice long walk and... More

A pleasant walk in the goodlands of the Lake Tahoe Forest. Easy walk, shaded within the confines of Mother Nature with all the sounds and smells that abound. Just a stroll through the and the opportunity to see fellow joggers, hikers and visitors made the outing enjoyable and something we do at every opportunity that we return. The Truckee River... More

this is a breath of fresh air in downtown Reno. The city or park planners have done an excellent job is creating a peaceful respite from the hub bub that one encounters in the rest of the downtown. Weather permitting this is a wonderful place to visit.

Going for a walk along the Truckee River was quite pleasant, if not a little cold (it has come into winter) and even though the weather had turned there were still brave souls having a picnic alongside the river. I’m pretty sure that through the warmer times of year the River Walk becomes quite popular with people wishing to make... More

Really has cleaned up since last time I visited. Nice area for a relaxing walk in Reno. Located right downtown so easy access. Lots of water Pokémon in the area.

What a Lovely Surprise. The walk was very enjoyable, and well maintained, which helped show off Nature at its Fall best.

I love to jog along the Riverwalk. See the funky artwork, watch the river flow, enjoy the outdoors. This year I ran the Thanksgiving 5K road race with about 800 others on a fine sunny day. Nothing like a run along the Truckee River to put a good spin on the day. Reno's done a great job making the the... More

Not really for kids it's a long somewhat boring walk. Has some interesting artwork along the way. They seem to gear things more for adults around this walk.

The River Walk provides visitors opportunity to walk along the River. Not strenuous there are wide walkways but some inclines if you venture from the streets and bridges onto the bike paths. Be careful on the as there is no railing. Many people were walking their dogs.
