A bit overpriced, but a nice hotel.

I've stayed at The Nugget several times. The rooms are nice, but the price is a little high for the amenities.

It's a well stocked museum. Surely recommend the Pahrump Valley Museum to anyone visiting or passing through Pahrump. We were greeted by Fernando, he made us feel so welcome and spent good 1 hour explaining the contents of museum, history of Pahrump and things to do in a Pahrump and Las Vegas. We surely benefitted from his knowledge on the... More

Just a small museum with interesting facts about this tiny town I live in, no charge to visit but Donations are needed and always appreciated! Got a few minutes to spare and interested in the history of Nevada then stop in drop a few bucks in the donations box and enjoy

We've been to many a small town museum and usually yawn our way through. Pahrump Valley Museum was a nice change. Many personal items from locals, which gave it an interesting twist. A wide variety of weapons from civil war to WWII. Personal letters, mining equipment, cotton gin, household items from turn of the century. Wonderful bronzes out front and... More

Was expecting more? But it's free. Was more interested in outside military equipment. How did we ever win a war with it?

Friends who had lived here for several years took us here and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We take all of our out-of-town visitors here, and it is quite the shapshot of early life in and around Pahrump. Very interesting! If you go in the summer, go early in the day, as several historic buildings are included outdoors.

Family friendly museum located in Pahrump, NV. Pahrump is my favorite little small town (though its grown over the years) in Nevada and its a peaceful place. That said, other than gambling, drinking and the brothels, and retirement living, Pahrump is a sleeply place to raise kids, live your life and enjoy a quiet existence. To liven up the place... More
