I gambled today in all the casinos in Laughlin and the only place I hit was the Pioneer. It’s older and small, but the staff was really friendly and the machines didn’t seem as tight as the other casinos.

We were happy to walk in to find a non crowded small newly renovated pleasant casino but pay tables for video poker are just to low for our liking so we left. They are actually LOWER than the Las Vegas Strip's video poker machines!!

Has had a makeover. Staff seem friendly, but the place is Dead. They advertise in Coupon book, but don't honor. Would not bother going back.

Took 2 1/2 hours to get paid. The Slot Manager was extremely rude and uncooperative. He did not know how to payout a Canadian. He insisted a passport was required which we know from experience is not. He also completed the wrong forms. Very disappointed!!

This is not my favorite place to play as the machines are too close together and the low cielings make the casino very dim, there is ample parking

The restaurant and hotel is open, but there is no gambling at all. I struggled with how to rate the Pioneer. We didn't stay here. We didn't eat here. The only positive thing I can say is that the time we spent walking to the...More

Walked all the way there, and the casino was closed down and boarded up. No signs saying the casino was closed or anything. Asked the Security guy, and he just threw out a crappy excuse. Never did like the place, and will never go back...More
