We took the river cruise up to the dam - was actually a lot more fun than I expected. We had a good tour guide, and learned a great deal about the dam, and the area.

I didn't see that there was any tour of the facility which is what I wanted. It's a place to picnic or take small children though it was very windy when we were there.

Driving up the road you can see the Dam but the main road to the area is closed. The water was low at this time

There are 4 dams that control Colorado River. We have visited 3 so far. The last one is in Mexico, so I dont know when that will be.

Pleasant boat ride up the river to the Dam. Capt. is informative and you see all of the Casinos and their history from the Capt. Well worth the 12 Bucks.

Cool small dam on the Nevada side of the Colorado River. It is Davis Dam that creates "Lake Mojave". Interesting to see and compare to the Hoover Dam.

We traveled up the river on the SS Riverside cruise boat to the base of Davis dam. They give a good narration about the dam and the river. Relaxing way to spend some time.
