About
Measuring 520 feet in diameter, the High Roller eclipses both the London Eye and Singapore Flyer. Facing north and south parallel to Las Vegas Boulevard, the wheel takes 30 minutes to complete one full revolution and features 28 glass-enclosed cabins with broad views of Las Vegas and the Strip. Each spherical cabin can hold up to 40 people, with benches on either side of the cabin and plenty of floor space in between-but we imagine you'll want to stand and admire the view. Sight-seeing isn't all that the High Roller has to offer. Take in the best views of Las Vegas from inside a High Roller Happy Half Hour cabin. Your ticket includes one 30-minute ride and an open bar inside the cabin! Allow your body and mind to soar 550 feet in the sky above the Las Vegas Strip in a unique and personalized yoga session with a professional instructor. Or experience a one-of-a-kind sky high chocolate tasting experience paired with your choice of wine!

Wow, great views - heavy pours and lots of fun vibes! We had a blast. The wheel moves nice and slow so even those who aren’t into heights can be comfortable.

This was totally worth it. It goes nice and slow but you do have to get on while moving very slowly. Buying through here give you vouchers so you still have to wait in a longer line. Not sure where you can buy to use the faster line. But the ride itself is pretty awesome. There are seats inside and railing to grab on to. I recommend it.

Did the day ticket, it was included in the go City pass. Huge pod with some seating. We went when it was quite slow on a Wednesday, so there were only 6 people on board. Would go back to see it at night too. There is a higher charge for the night ticket.

Great view of the city; especially at night. Just do not understand why the line to buy tickets takes so incredibly long. We had two people in front of us and were in line for over 30 mins. They tickets are a bit pricey too; best to check for a discount first (Caesars Rewards, etc); there are also service fees; so just beware

It was okay. It would no doubt be better at sunset or at night. We went at 2PM on a sunny day. We saw all we needed to see on the way up. The last thirty minutes we just were waiting to leave.

So worth it. Stop at the bar first, grab a cocktail and enjoy your 30 minute adventure. At Sunset you can see the sun set over the mountains and the lights of Vegas. Great views, bring a camera. Plus loving the LinQ alley way. Great bars and restaurants, better prices than the strip.

Nice 30min. Best price on drinks anywhere on the strip. My belly got full before I got drunk but I got a nice little tipsy going on and the bartender let me bring one to go. She was very good, quick, efficient, friendly. The ride was pleasant and relaxing with nice views.

Was not allowed to ride because I had a pocket knife on me. Was told to leave it somewhere outside the building. How's that gonna work? I have a license to carry permit but am not allowed to carry a pocket knife on a ride??? The guy acted like he was a TSA agent.

Fun, romantic, reasonably priced event. You've got to go at night for the beautiful view of the strip. You can even see the Bellagio water show from above.
Each ball holds about 20 people! We rode with about 10 people and there was plenty of room. The wheel moves smoothly and slowly so you can really enjoy taking in the view. The ball doesn't sway or rock, so it feels safe. The outdoor promenade leading up to it is a lively party scene, but I'd avoid the Linq casino. It looked nice from the outside, but was trashy and shady looking inside. Don't use the Linq self-park, either. It's a lot of dark alleys...avoid it for your personal safety

Best enjoyed at night...it is a great view of the hotels and lights on the strip. It takes 30 minutes to go around one time. The pods are large enough to stand and walk around. For an additional fee, you can get an open bar pod and drink as much as you can in 30 minutes. (?) Both options are a little expensive for the overall experience, but then, that's Vegas.

Does the happy half hour price of $60 include the ride and drinks or is it just the drinks?

I am not sure about what is included in the happy hour. We purchased the tickets from the UK before we flew out. But I think there is a site you can use to get further information. I hope that helps you with your question.
is there a discount for seniors and local residents

There's a discount for locals and youths. Children below a certain age are free. I don't recall a discount for seniors. The biggest discount is for daytime guests versus the evening crowd.

I bought it through Go City Pass and I think the pass is good for 2 years and 14 days after you use it for the first time.
What is the website to get souvenir photo's from? I have the code but lost the actual website address and can't find it online.

No clue, I opt out of any of those “photo requests”
And also had no interest in the hi roller, being trapped with 15 or more strangers for a period of time is not my idea of fun

We went in April and purchased our tickets on expedia prior to our trip. We reserved a certain date and time and we had no wait when we arrived.
