My family of 8 members traveled to Las Vegas during Christmas week but only 4 of us decided to do the gondola ride so we all shared 1 gondola. The regular price for this ride is already pricey but during the holidays, the price is $10 more so at $39/pp it's very pricey. The wait was not long probably because the price deterred more people from participating. Overall, it's a short (10-15 mins) but enjoyable ride. We had a sociable host who sang 3 songs during our ride. I would recommend doing this once but I wouldn't say this is a must do when visiting Vegas.

I was determined to fit this in to my trip this time and I’m so glad I did. We couldn’t pre-book but we got there around 11am and there was no queue to purchase tickets and only 3 people in front of us to board our gondola.
We took the indoor tour which in our opinion is much nicer and has a better atmosphere. Our gondolier was wonderful and had a beautiful voice she chatted and sang to us the whole time.
There was an option to purchase an official photograph for an additional price.
Despite being from Europe I’ve never been to Venice and this may be a closest I’ll ever come.

You pay for the experience and picture taking, just so you can say you did it. For the price you pay (we paid $39 per person), you get a 10-minute ride around the pool. The gondola driver sings a few songs and that was fun. Keep in mind that a maximum of only 4 people are allowed to be on the boat at a time. There were 5 of us and had to split up to 2 and 3 people which was fine. They offer a private time for more or so $150 which I am guessing is meant for proposals(?). Anyway, it was great doing it at least once. Again, we did it for experience and some pictures and were glad we did it. I'd say a good one-time experience.

On fathers day June 20, 2021 around 19:00, a cashier named Ana L I was so inconsiderate and giving attitude towards guests. Me and my daughter waited 45 minutes to an hour in line for the gondola reservation and i was only $2 short in cash as she wont take my husband’s credit card. I was calling my husband to come and she wanted me to go back all the way at the end of the line again to pay. As a cashier myself in many places i worked at, we never put our guest back to start in line again as its part of common sense and customer service and compassion. But She was so inconsiderate and unaccommodating to us, i actually felt really bad for my daughter as she really begged me to have her experience to ride the boat. I was tired and waited all that time for nothing and end up very upset and dissapointed. My husband did come right away but she wouldn’t take our payment and we have to go all the way back in line to start over as she has other guests in line. As if i wasnt in line myself. I did my part to wait in line. She chose to waste 5 minutes arguing to us that she has the right to refuse service instead of taking our card which would’ve only took less an a minute. We are paying customers and we waited in line. We did our part. She was super inconsiderate and very rude. This was such a horrible experience. It ruined our holiday and our daughter’s experience as well. We will never go back there again. No more business from us Thanks to Ana, I hope she felt good about turning away people, sighing and rolling her eyes everytime someone just needed a little help. She was giving attitude to the guest before me and i didnt know what was it all about until it was my turn. I hope she will not experience what we experienced with her. She probably hated her job and she shouldn’t be working in a customer service place like that. Hope this wont happen to anyone else especially with families with small children.

We had been wanting to experience a gondola ride so we splurged for our anniversary. The ride was shorter than expected (about 10 minutes long) and it was more expensive. Online it said $39 per person then when we went to buy tickets we found out it cost twice as much if you wanted a boat by yourselves. They take pictures which are offered for $30 for one or $70 something for four. The gondolier was great! She had a beautiful singing voice and sang three snippets of songs. We’re glad we experienced it but it won’t be on our repeat experience list.

Several reviewers have stated this: those outside and inside the ticket office are aloof and rude. They may know how their "system" works, but the signage is poor, and they are not gracious at all. No please, no thank you, and they enjoy mocking their "guests". I almost walked away without purchasing tickets but took feedback from others that once I endured the poorly mannered ticket staff, I'd be pleased. The ride itself was very nice. Roberto was our gondolier, and he was extremely pleasant and conversational. We enjoyed the violin players' music at each turn around point, and the individuals who helped us to, on and off of the gondola were helpful. But again, our trip was soured by the immature, rude ticket staff. If the Venetian is responsible for their hiring, then the they should immediately take steps to train or retrain these individuals on customer service skills. An "excuse me" (when I am standing outside in the wrong place), a "please", and more importantly a "thank you" after the transaction...something to show you're pleased to have guests is required. If I treated my customers like your ticket center reps treat your customers, I'd see my sales plummet.

During the countless times I have wandered through the Grand Canal Shops in the Venetian, I have often stopped to look at the Gondola Ride. Having enjoyed the experience of a “real” gondola along the canals of the “real” Venice, I was skeptical of partaking in the Venetian’s version of the activity. But on our recently concluded trip, my wife and I “got on board.”
It was fun and well worth the $29 per person it cost. The ride itself lasts 15-20 minutes, and along the way, riders are serenaded by two very accomplished vocalists. The gondolier speaks perfect English (they are “legitimate” Italians!) and ours endeavored to ensure we had a memorable experience. Of course, the obligatory gondola themed gift shop is nearby, in which you can hunt for a souvenir and see the photos snapped while you were on board.

Three of us took the outdoor gondola ride which lasted a mere 10-12 minutes. The cost was about $87 — not worth it. The trip went under a bridge where some woman singer serenaded us — she was terrible and also the gondolier sang (he was good). But as soon as it started , it ended that quickly. I think we did not even travel 50 yards in total. The staff also takes pictures of you but at $30 per pic, we passed. Tourist trap!

This ride could be nice, but it is way overpriced for what you get, which is little. We took the outside ride and were surprised by how quickly it was over. If it lasted ten minutes, it was a lot. It was over almost before it began. They take you through a tunnel, turn around and take you through another one and you're back where you started. Sure you get a couple of songs by your gondolier, but it is hardly worth what you pay for. In addition, they want an extra $20 each for pictures afterward. For the $40 per person fee to ride the gondola, you'd think it would come with a picture included, but no, they have to fleece you for more money. Don't waste your money on this.

This was at the top of my list for things to do. We did the indoor tour and would have also done the outdoor tour if they had a package for it but they did not. The ride is very short, about 10-15 minutes and really doesn't go far. But we loved the singing and if you have to pick between indoor and outdoor I would do indoor just because the acoustics with the singing was amazing. You will ride with others unless you pay the $150 to ride alone but that's not worth it. They take photos in a way that captures just the people in your party and know that their picture taking does take up some of the time. They sell photo packages and we bought just one pic with the digital pic for $40 but know that some of their more expensive packages don't come with the digital option. We thought our pic turned out great. It is a very costly experience however. Can't say I would ever do it again but I enjoyed doing it once.

Is it possible to do both the inside and outside ride on a trip? Or would this be deemed two separate trips and end up costing double the price?

We went when it was just starting to turn a little dark. Outside you see the lights of Vegas. It's short and the water looks like a pool. You dont feel like you're in venice. Not sure what the inside is like but you go through the mall and see stores and people looking at you

Kids can ride. You can ride private (2 persons) or with another couple. I believe it was $25 per person
